CNC Peck Drilling Operation

1. Material Assessment: Select materials suitable for CNC peck drilling, often involving metals like steel, aluminum, or copper.
2. Drill Bit Selection: Choose the appropriate peck drill bit with the required diameter, flute design, and coatings based on hole size and material characteristics.
3. Workpiece Preparation: Securely mount the workpiece on the CNC machining center's table or fixture, ensuring it is properly aligned for drilling.
4. CNC Setup: Configure the CNC machine by loading the relevant CNC program, setting tool offsets, work offsets, spindle speed, and pecking parameters.
5. Peck Drilling Process: Activate the CNC machine to engage the peck drill bit, which repeatedly enters and retracts from the workpiece, clearing chips and creating holes with precise depths while minimizing heat buildup.
